User roles
Ensure security with role-based access.
FastTEST Web has multiple layers of security. An important layer is User Roles, which restrict both what users can do and where they can go in the system. For example, English teachers cannot see the Math bank and vice versa. Role descriptions are below; contact us for more information.
| User Role | Primary Purpose |
| Workspace Administrator | Create and manage banks; create new users, all other functions below |
| Bank Manager | Create/delete items and banks |
| Item Editor | Edit existing items |
| Item Reviewer | Review and comment on existing items in "review" status |
| Browse User | View items but no editing or commenting |
| Test Creator | Build tests from existing items |
| Test Scheduler | Upload examinee lists, manage groups, and assign examinees to a test; this is for a user in an administration role with no content knowledge |
